Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career with a full-time opportunity supporting early learners and preschoolers for a full school year. This contract role is based near the beautiful Niagara Falls, NY area and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, running from 8am to 3pm.
Utilizing your clinical skills, you’ll play a key part in helping young students develop vital communication abilities in a supportive school environment. Your expertise will make a difference in early intervention and empower your students to succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for New York State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility preferred
- Previous experience in school settings and with early learners/preschool-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement therapy goals and IEPs
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to preschool and early learner caseloads
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student growth
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging learning environment for all students
