As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed01:00 PM - 07:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, patient privacy considerations, and adherence to facility access procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
