Our company is looking for a Associate Business Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop training and implementation material;
  • Elicit product requirements from end users and subject matter experts;
  • Organization and prioritization of a multitude of responsibilities and dead lines;
  • Document requirements in the format of business requirements documents (BRDs) and user stories with acceptance criteria ( Agile );
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve , discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer;
  • Ability to regularly participate in morning and/or evening international meetings remotely;
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to the product team;
  • Develop use cases , activity diagrams, flowcharts, and decision tables to facilitate development using Excel;
  • Perform customer/user acceptance testing.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years BA experience;
  • Strong MS Office skills;
  • Experience working with a software company;
  • Writing skills to communicate information concisely and effectively to customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Organizational skills to regulate the vast influx of information and to ensure the project stay within budget;
  • Previous experience in insurance or financial services industry is required. Life insurance experience preferred;
  • An understanding of contemporary requirements gathering, analysts, validation, and management practice;
  • Lead the requirements analysis and validation ensuring that the requirement statements are complete, concise, feasible, and verifiable;
  • Familiarity with the complete scope of the Software Development Life Cycle;
  • Write requirements specifications according to organization practices using language that is clear, concise and encompassing for a diverse audience;
  • Offer requirements in traditional formats, or where appropriate prototype layouts or alternative solutions;
  • Present requirements in a template already being utilized within the organization;
  • Participate in requirements prioritization;
  • Experience working in an Agile environment required;
  • Solicit requirements by conducting interviews, performing data and document analysis, surveys, site visits, etc.
