Our company is looking for a Alignment Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and timely completion of inspections and repairs;
  • Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor;
  • Supervises work of apprentice technicians as assigned;
  • Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins;
  • Test drive customer vehicle to troubleshoot, identify & diagnose mechanical issues and confirm repairs have addressed issue;
  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer;
  • Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician;
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended;
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts;
  • Vehicle maintenance inspections, recording and reporting;
  • Other tasks as needed;
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order;
  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events;
  • Able to diagnose and fix alignments, suspension, and brakes;
  • Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.

Requirements:

  • Computer skills;
  • a desire to learn new skills and grow with the company;
  • mechanical skills and interest,
  • Oral and written communication skills;
  • math skills,
  • Experience doing alignments;
  • Couple years of experienced preferred;
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen;
  • Must have basic tools;
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve;
  • Able to work in a fast paced enviroment;
  • ASE Certifications;
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record;
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
