Our company is looking for a Quick Lane Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • General repairs;
  • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards;
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs;
  • Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules;
  • Performs other duties as assigned;
  • Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs;
  • Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required;
  • Brake pads/shoes replacement and rotor machining;
  • All suspension repairs and/or alignments;
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed;
  • Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem;
  • Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks;
  • Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates;
  • Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles;
  • Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of automotive servicing or repair highly desired;
  • Neat, clean, and professional appearance;
  • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles;
  • Safety and customer service oriented;
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality;
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed;
  • High school diploma or GED preferred;
  • One year of relevant experience preferred;
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment;
  • Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record;
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress;
  • Basic Computer skills;
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
  • ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred);
  • Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve.
