Our company is looking for a Lead Account Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
  • Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel;
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures;
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures;
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options;
  • Provide input into department’s goal setting process;
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information;
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions;
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results to multiple owners;
  • Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating daily activities, proper workflows and answering questions;
  • Provide technical support and advice to management;
  • Support month-end and year-end close process;
  • Ad-hoc people management/development, and project/program needs that will elevate the Account Management Team;
  • Help the Account Management Team solve complex user and company needs, helping our customers use Zeus to grow their businesses;
  • Proactively offer advice on industry best practices and creative product solutions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and work well with others, solve problems in a finance environment;
  • Experience in the Asset & Property Management Software Yardi a plus;
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills;
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Excel and accounting software and databases;
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures;
  • Multiple years in an accounting leadership role;
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process;
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data;
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is a must;
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Real Estate accounting experience and ability to read and understand leases preferred.
