eCommerce Operations Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a eCommerce Operations Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 1-2 direct reports;
- Manage Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting and project trends for use in forecasting;
- Report all website bugs/issues and work with developers to find resolutions;
- Manage email deployment to customer database;
- Provide forecasts to 3rd party vendors to guide staffing and scheduling for contact center and warehouses;
- Utilize Google Analytics and other reporting tools to monitor KPI’s and identify areas of opportunity;
- Scope projects and ensure proper integration of data across systems;
- Create, test and deploy promotions and content on sites;
- Prioritize and manage website project roadmap in partnership with IT;
- Regularly test site enhancements to ensure proper functionality;
- Budget 3rd party vendor expenses and track in partnership with finance team;
- Develop A/B testing roadmap, identify and help implement opportunities to increase conversion;
- Manage eCommerce platform experience including finding product, product images, adding to cart and order placement process;
- Drive strategy for eCommerce platform, order management and fulfillment process for Honor Society online store;
- Project manage all eCommerce related activities from discovery to implementation on-time and under budget.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in both eCommerce operations and fulfillment;
- Clear and concise communication skills , both written and verbal;
- A strong bias toward execution. You love working independently and thrive when given freedom and flexibility;
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently;
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience;
- Strong prioritization skills; able to shift focus to urgent issues while not falling behind on other duties;
- Comprehensive understanding of e-Commerce and supply chain management.
