Our company is looking for a Drainage Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Stormwater management reports;
  • Design projects such as storm sewer, retention / detention basin , cross drain;
  • Investigate Stormwater and drainage issues and provide solutions;
  • Water quality analysis;
  • Hydrologic analysis;
  • Compile and coordinate of engineering documents including permit packages and design documentation reports;
  • Coordinate plans, calculations and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • EIT or PE license eligible;
  • Experience with IDOT and municipal water districts preferred;
  • 5+ years of drainage design including storm sewer, ditch and channel design;
  • Bachelor’s or greater in civil engineering or related field;
  • Proficient in Microstation, Geopak, AdiCPR, HECRAS, Autocad and ArcGIS;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and with large multi-discipline engineering teams is important;
  • Desirable modeling experience with ASAD, ICPR, HY-8 or HEC-RAS is a strong plus;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college;
  • Proficiency in Microstation/GEOPAK;
  • Engineer Intern (EI) or Florida Professional Engineer license (PE) is preferred;
  • Familiarity with FDOT plans preparation criteria and design standards, also a strong plus.
