Our company is looking for a Electrical Engineer III to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Refines product definitions, based on knowledge of manufacturing capability, to assure that released designs can be produced;
  • Analyzes processes, products, and inspection records to anticipate, identify, and correct problems and to establish quality levels and trends;
  • Compiles cost estimates and delivery quotations, monitors performance, and prepares reports, statistics, and recommendations for management review;
  • Participates in establishing operating procedures on new products and components;
  • Designs and/or develops/processes new products, special instruments, and unique equipment to meet specific requirements of customer orders;
  • Performs other related engineering work as required;
  • Expresses ideas clearly and listens effectively to the ideas of others;
  • Keeps proper engineering files and records;
  • Conforms to company core values;
  • Under minimal direction, completes engineering assignments of moderate complexity;
  • Comprehensive understanding of Electrical discipline and basic understanding of other disciplines;
  • Develops an understanding of the role of each functional area within the company;
  • Prepares specifications, data sheets, quotation requests, and technical bid summaries for electrical equipment;
  • Performs electrical equipment and cable sizing calculations;

Requirements:

  • Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices;
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software;
  • Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth;
  • Normally works in an office setting with controlled temperature;
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering plus 4 years of related experience;
  • May be required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry for short distances;
  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
