Our company is looking for a Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Contract manufacturer to integrate testers on manufacturing line and train their test teams;
- Troubleshoot failures on testers to narrow down issue to hardware, software, tester or manufacturing;
- Create tester schematics and layout of test equipment;
- Design Automated test equipment for PCBA and End of Line Testers, Reliability and Engineering;
- Create requirements for custom test hardware;
- Develop tester software in python to run test cases as per specification;
- Create software requirements for DUT software to exercise functions needed for test;
- Supports bench level investigations;
- Assists in the development of electronic component test plans;
- Performs testing according to test plans or work instructions;
- Assists with electronic part procurement;
- Performs other job related and support activity duties as required;
- Conducts experiments, manages and generates accurate records and/or reports of testing completed;
- Assists in the design and development of test systems;
- Perform electrical and electronic equipment assembly and test.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience designing and developing Automated Test Equipments for Low Voltage Hardware;
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science;
- Strong experience in Linux and developing software in Python;
- Experience with Compute, Laser, Radar & Camera Technologies plus;
- Experience working with Contract Manufacturer;
- Experience in embedded software development plus;
- Strong hands-on experience testing Electronic products;
- 5 years of CAD experience;
- With an Associate’s Degree in applicable fields, 12 years directly related experience is required;
- With no degree, 14 years of electrical engineering work experience in a technical/engineering environment is required;
- With a Bachelor’s Degree in applicable fields, 10 years directly related experience is required;
- Experience with MicroStation CAD software and ProjectWise;
- Experience should be more technical in nature and include electrical engineering work.
