Our company is looking for a Engineering Tech to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform final inspections on completed work before it is approved for return to service. (Repair Station Only);
  • Provide guidance and training to hourly associates;
  • Research and develop new manufacturing techniques and/or tooling to improve throughput, reduce scrap/rework, improve product quality;
  • Assist and participate as required with all FAA, airline, AS9100, and other audits;
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for all work in accordance with company standards and customer requirements;
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with approved data and conforms to all quality standards and specifications;
  • Ensure that hourly associates obtain appropriate training to maintain the correct knowledge in all regulations, procedures, and processes;
  • Work with hourly associates to help meet Customer contractual deadlines (i.e. turn-around time);
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to determine best manufacturing process design;
  • Perform other related duties as required;
  • Assist in the creation, implementation and maintenance of procedures as required in support of product or process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • High school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate and less than 1 year work related experience in electrical/electronic systems;
  • Active DoD Interim Secret clearance;
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance. Must have a minimum of a DOD Interim Secret level clearance to start in this position;
  • Documented completion of soldering and/or fiber-optic termination/connectorization certification/training.
