Our company is looking for a Engineering Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Instrument maker or model maker who performed design or development work on devices fabricated;
  • Fault-find complex automation equipment;
  • Keep work area clean, orderly and follow 5S schedule;
  • Perform preventative maintenance & repairs on facilities & equipment to maintain successful day to day operation;
  • Install test instrumentation, sensors, and associated wiring;
  • Analyze technical requirements and efforts associated with test systems, products, and processes;
  • Work with CTDI repair branches to implement and support the tools and processes to optimize equipment testing and repair processes;
  • Interface directly with the customer concerning New Product Introduction (NPI) work on new equipment models;
  • Monitor process for compliance with process specs and report discrepancies;
  • Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with safety rules and regulations;

  • Work with the Product engineer to actively provide support to the program;
  • Work to improve the documentation used by assembly personnel;

Requirements:

  • Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs;
  • Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used;
  • AA degree preferred or Equivalent Experience;
  • Mechanical aptitude;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Provide items to QA for inspection;
  • Understanding of audio, video and CATV RF formats and circuits;
  • Must have basic computer skills focusing on Excel;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with complex integrated electrical systems;
  • physical science;
  • Experience with ISO lab compliance;
  • Experience with supplier management and or collaborating with remote engineering teams;
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline;
  • Highly organized;
