Implementation Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Implementation Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Willingness to participate in hands-on learning which is demonstrated through assisting other departments, especially Quality Assurance department;
- Minimal travel required on a national basis;
- Partner with the system project manager and business analyst on any changes or modifications to the deployment processes;
- Be the public face of the company from a technical and operational integration perspective;
- Creates reports and dashboards concerning the progress made and existing implementation opportunities;
- Assists in the creation of service levels with partners to impact experience;
- Build, monitor and execute a joint integration project plan with the client;
- Working closely with our third-party providers executing the service associated with implementing the solution to the desired endpoint;
- Own all public-facing SDKs, APIs, integration guides and support documents;
- Evaluate future capacity requirements for implementation and recommend new systems/improvements to meet the growing needs of the organization;
- Lead on-site integration efforts for enterprise clients;
- Provide end-to-end support for new clients during their on-boarding process;
- Have a deep understanding of our system and our product capabilities;
- Creation and effective use of all communications and training requirements as part of the deployment;
- Monitor and report on the budget associated with each implementation project.
Requirements:

- The work you do here will extend and deepen your skills. We leverage standard technologies and frameworks;
- Proven technical background, should be comfortable reading logs, source code, querying DBs;
- Creates reports and dashboards concerning the progress made and existing implementation opportunities;
- Assists in the creation of service levels with partners to impact experience;
- Partner with the system project manager and business analyst on any changes or modifications to the deployment processes;
- An incredibly strong “can do” attitude, we are growing fast and tackling unique problems that require quick thinking and adaptability;
- Working closely with our third-party providers executing the service associated with implementing the solution to the desired endpoint;
- Evaluate future capacity requirements for implementation and recommend new systems/improvements to meet the growing needs of the organization;
- Superb writing and communication skills;
- Prior B2B SaaS experience – an advantage;
- Creation and effective use of all communications and training requirements as part of the deployment;
