KBE Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a KBE Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Position requires extensive knowledge of Catia/NX modeling and an extensive background developing / packaging / synthesizing complex vehicle systems;
- Compensation (Range): 40-45/ hour;
- Good understanding of body engineering and design process, including dimensional and structural requirements is desired;
- Willingness to take on additional responsibility and learn new methods and processes is a must;
- Candidate must be a self-starter and able to complete complicated projects without constant supervision. Strong communication skills is a must;
- Google Suite and MS Office proficiency is required;
- DFSS and Teamcenter training is preferred;
- BS in Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university is required.
Requirements:
- 5 years of CAD (NX/CATIA) Interior Trim experience in one of the following areas; Hard Trim, Soft Trim, Headliners or body design;
- NX-Technical Expertise; experience in associative parametric design;
- Vehicle launch experience;
- Experience with advance quality tools such as DFSS, parametric models, and design for performance;
- May be required to travel domestically up to 20%
- May be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
- Experience in overall vehicle design and release;
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program;
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
