Lead Engineer – Mechanical Component Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Engineer – Mechanical Component to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews;
- Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues;
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments;
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures;
- Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project;
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures;
- Ownership of select structures component designs;
- Lead or participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues;
- Implement plans with guidance to meet technical requirements of assigned components and systems;
- Recommend, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and program requirements;
- Provide technical leadership to personnel / cross functional teams supporting the assigned project;
- Develop action plans with guidance to respond to issues / problems.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering position.
