Our company is looking for a Process Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products;
  • Check and document HAACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point);
  • Other duties as required and assigned;
  • Actively participate in team safety efforts to achieve/exceed plant goals;
  • Maintain a commitment to promote a respectful and productive team environment; assist and train others as needed, help with break coverage;
  • Initiate timely corrective actions when issues arise;
  • Run the batching system which controls the batching of raw ingredients into a finished product and Cleaning in Place (CIP);
  • Reduce cycle times of machines without jeopardizing part quality;
  • Must be flexible to support production schedule;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Troubleshooting issues on CNC Bending processes;
  • Monitor scrap rates;
  • Ensure proper team communication for maximum quality and efficiency;
  • Sets-up straight forward open and closed molds, as well as more complex molds with multiple cores, pulls, auxiliary hydraulics and manifolds;
  • Develop, maintain and adjust process recipes and machine profiles.

Requirements:

  • Experience in setting-up equipment safety operating procedures, including documentation as well, as physical set-up and operation;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate across levels and functions. Excellent organizational skills;
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude to learn to mount and dismount equipment with ease;
  • Experience with assembly of hardware;
  • Ability to generate assembly work instructions for assembling hardware and test equipment;
  • Ability to utilize complicated drawings and mathematics formulas and a variety of precision measuring instruments;
  • Experience troubleshooting process problems in a technical environment;
  • Maintaining manufacturing process equipmentTrain production staff about the hazards in your workplace, and teach them how to clean up spills;
  • Works well independently (self-motivated), as well as in a team environment;
  • Is willing to work on any of the three shifts, as required (including overtime coverage);
  • Technical troubleshooting experience;
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds and stand or walk for long periods of time. Instruct factory laborers in the use and care of the equipment;
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical training, preferred;
  • Must be knowledgeable of the operations and repair procedures of the equipment with which they work;
  • Read mechanical drawings and electronic schematics to ensure product specification and tolerances are met.
