Our company is looking for a RF Design Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Will interact with customers to obtain design requirements, and could oversee Assembly Technicians;
  • Responsible for the design, prototype and testing of RF and microwave products;
  • Very strong organizational skills for capturing and reporting on projects;
  • Will use test equipment, network and spectrum analyzers, and document findings;
  • Experienced with DAS Networks;
  • Ability to complete projects on time;
  • Understanding of project flow;
  • Approximately 10-15% travel domestically (customer sites and trade shows);
  • Ability to understand design and construction of Verizon systems;
  • Must have RF Engineering background in order to speak to customers needs on In-Building technologies;
  • Will design, build and test of Microwave RF Switch Matrices and High Power RF and Microwave amplifiers;
  • Responsible for impedance matching;
  • Prior In-Building experience is helpful but not imperative.

Requirements:

  • Experience with QxDM, TEMS, Nemo, Actix, JDSU E6474A;
  • Various RF tools and knowledge of SQL or other professional software;
  • Microsoft Office Suite and VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation;
  • Strong RF theory knowledge as well as LTE/VoLTE technology;
  • Model Tuning experience;
  • 2+ years of work experience in the telecommunication or cellular field;
  • Expert Atoll experience and Planet EV is nice to have;
  • Ability to develop software tools and scripts to maximize efficiencies for analyzing data and performing data integrity checks;
  • Design and Optimization of LTE/VoLTE networks;
  • Experience with ZTE, ALU, Nokia, Ericsson, Cambium, and Ubiquiti wireless infrastructures;
  • Desirable programming languages are: Visual Basic or any other high level language.
