Our company is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Technology Insertion discussions, Configuration Control Boards (CCB), and Technical & Programmatic Reviews;
  • Delegates tasks to others and follows ups on completion and quality of work;
  • Assist staff with ensuring that engineering packages are completed on time and within budget;
  • Implement procedures, specification sheets, electrical drawings and bill of materials;
  • Manages budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversight;
  • Circuit Card Assembly design from specification to production;
  • Performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design of new products to ensure quality standards and business objectives are met;
  • identification of possible design/strategy flaws;
  • Providing support to manufacturing and field service team for electrical troubleshooting, warranty support, etc;
  • Integrate external equipment (cameras, sensors, etc);
  • Provides guidance for the mitigation of electromagnetic interference from and carried by electrical and power distribution systems;

Requirements:

  • Designs to regulatory standards (CE, FCC);
  • Represents the highest standard of professional conduct with other groups, department members and clients;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • Working knowledge of standards and the ability to apply complex groupings of standards into designs;
  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner;
  • Proficient in Word and Excel;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • ETAP experience;
  • Knowledge of PLC and DCS programming systems as well as HMI design (Rockwell/Allen Bradley);
  • Electrical Engineering (5-7 years exp.) Proficient with analog circuits (power supplies);
  • P.E. registration, with the ability to be registered in multiple states is required;
  • Providing support to manufacturing and field service team for electrical troubleshooting, warranty support, etc;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation software packages;
  • Designs digital microprocessor systems;
  • The ability to obtain the appropriate security clearance.
