Senior UX Researcher Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Help shape the long term vision and experience for the platform;
- Coach and mentor others;
- Plan and facilitate design workshops and UX training sessions with cross-functional stakeholders and customers;
- Partner with our VoC team bridging product, marketing, and operations;
- Build and scale an internal research repository and research toolkit;
- Manage engagements with external research and design firms;
- Plan, manage and execute UX studies that address user attitudes and behavior;
- Present research plans to PARC’s Institutional Review Board for approval;
- Organize all research documents, including subject recordings, testing plans, notes, and outcomes into a research archive;
- Creatively communicate results and deliver high-quality research reports and deliverables;
- Clarify and align the research needs of key stakeholders and suggest new methods to get at key research objectives;
- Conduct on-site, remote, and in-field interviews with current and prospective customers;
- Propose and initiate self-driven research inquiry based on a detailed understanding of our current products, users, and customers;
- Identify design and product work that need research and develop detailed plans to support all required research activities;
- Develop and promote consistent research methods within the product organization and across GoGuardian.
Requirements:
- Comfortable communicating with C-level executives;
- Self-directed and takes initiative;
- B2B experience;
- 4+ years of conducting commercial UX research;
- Experience mentoring or managing small teams is strongly desired;

- Propose improvements to enhance customer experience and usability across all digital platforms;
- Command of a broad set of qualitative and quantitative user research methods;
- Ability to work with video a plus but not mandatory;
- Work closely with Content Strategist on SEO and readability best practices;
- Design Sprint or other group brainstorming facilitation expertise (preferred);
- Experience working in multi-cultural or cross-cultural contexts;
- Excellent project management skills (scheduling, organizing, risk management, problem-solving);
- Active listening, observation, and analytical skills;
- Qualitative and Quantitative Research: Deliver UX research standards and drive adoption across the organization.
