User Experience Designer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a User Experience Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Consistent high-quality deliverables that demonstrate design thinking;
- Work in agile teams alongside PM and engineering as a full-stack UX designer;

- Expand our research program within the design team and across the organization;
- Craft end-to-end user flows with brand identity and provide low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity polished mock-ups;
- Polished work quality with minimal, if any, need for senior designers to cleanup;
- Design and deliver wireframes, sitemaps, user stories, and user journeys optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces;
- Guide teams to translate business problems into human-centered problems;
- Identify design and experience problems and devise elegant solutions;
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders;
- Design Research, Ecosystem Design The Capital One Ecosystem Design Team is looking for a Design Researcher who is Rigorous;
- Partner with business analysis, product management, and engineering teams to deliver quality solutions;
- Lead development of interaction design and related specifications, documentation, and business cases;
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your recommendations.
Requirements:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite;
- 3+ years of experience with User Experience Design;
- Ability to understand and distill complex problems into elegant, informed solutions;
- The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field;
- HTML, Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign), and wireframing skills;
- Advanced experience using design tools (e.g. Sketch, Adobe XD) to produce wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes;
- 3+ years experience as a UX designer;
- Know best practices for web-based information architecture, tool/app/UI interactions, and content delivery;
- 2+ years’ of hardware/physical product design;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Has a working understanding of software development process;
- Works closely with stakeholders to help gather and define UI/UX requirements and contributes to the overall product strategy;
- Assess data from multiple sources, synthesize it, and develop strategies for your projects;
- Must be a US citizen capable of obtaining a Department of Defense security clearance;
- Experience creating and maintaining a living style guide and design elements library.
