Landscape Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Landscape Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all required job cost reporting and daily labor sheets;
- Responsible for overseeing safe use and storage of assigned tools, equipment, and vehicles;
- Applicants must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
- Load/unload materials for projects;
- Must be able to safety operate small to medium size equipment;
- Able to do manual labor;
- Must be able to lift/carry 30 – 75 pounds;
- Ensure safety regulations are met;
- Communicate with jobsite foreman and landscape designer to make sure the job is getting done to Weller Brothers quality standards and on time;
- Provide exceptional customer service;
- Ability to adapt and preform other landscape crewman duties as needed;
- Assist with construction/installation of landscape;
- Coordinate and facilitate maintenance and repairs;
- Take direction from jobsite foreman.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license;
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in landscaping and or lawn maintenance;
- Must be able to lift/carry 30 – 75 pounds;
- Ability to communicate with the job-site foreman in professional courteous manner;
- Team player;
- Reliable transportation to and from work;
- Ability to take constructive criticism;
- Able to use hand tools, pruners, pole saws, hand saws etc;
- Capable of learning new skills quickly;
- Willingness to work long hours to get the job done on time;
- General knowledge and experience in operating common landscape equipment;
- Self-starter;

- Knowledge of operating machines-Zero turns, walk behinds, weed-eaters,hedgers etc.
