Business Analyst 3 Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Analyst 3 to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sourcing group to create efficient and effective process to drive spend into the Procure to Pay (P2P) methodology;
- Triage issues, identify solutions and execute activities to deliver desired outcomes;
- Create requisitions, execute and track purchase orders accurately and promptly to ensure proper delivery of goods and services;
- Administer internal and external purchasing catalogs;
- Reconcile invoices to ensure accuracy;
- Address user support issues;
- Recommends policy changes to ensure compliance with Sourcing and Accounts Payable policies and practices, and/or to increase processing efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong project and change management skills, supported by work experience;
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated ability to identify potential risks associated with a proposed business initiative and recommend alternative actions;
- Experience directing change initiatives;
- Financial services industry experience;
- Ability to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis and evaluation of alternative solutions;
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Experience utilizing eProcurement software;
- Knowledge of procurement principles, practices and techniques;
- A minimum of 5 years experience that includes indirect sourcing, procurement, or purchasing;
- Excellent analytical skills.
