Business Program Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Business Program Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding efforts for new hires to foster a world class employee experience;
- Build relationships with local community groups such as schools, non-profit organizations as well as local city and state officials;
- Establish and maintain key connections with Regional VPs and other key stakeholders within USEC;
- Using standard processes and templates, develop customized change management strategies based on the change impact and audience;
- Integrate the project milestones and deliverables across WWIC for implementation;
- Manage a new/change business capability release through prioritization, requirements gathering, design, implementation, and release;
- Analyze data trends and identify opportunities;
- Collaborate across multiple teams to facilitate field enablement and feedback;
- Monitor and review change adoption and implement resistance mitigation and reinforcement strategies;
- Key contact from the Program team to understand the requirements from the customer, create features and collaborate with the technology teams;
- Partner with Offerings Roadmap Leads to ensure consistency and transparency of changes and impacts while maintaining teams’ roadmaps;
- Presenting to and driving decisions from WWIC leaders;
- Partner with other Operating Group process owners to ensure hand-offs between process areas are optimized and shared dependencies are fully vetted;
- Foster a customer obsessed culture;
- Run the Big Rock PMO (operational reviews, program delivery) to ensure WWIC Leadership is fully informed on program status, key decisions and risks.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in a SDLC framework, with varying regulatory and legal jurisdictions;
- Critical thinker with proven problem-solving skills;
- High energy individual with a “can do” attitude;
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and team-building skills;
- Technical knowledge in Microsoft suite of products;
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction and supervision;
- 2+ years of related professional experience/knowledge within Community Outreach, Sales Operations, Business or Event Planning is required;
- Flexibility and adaptability; ability to deal with ambiguity;
- Advising executive leadership team on driving, assessing, and prioritizing long term strategic direction for Microsoft Enterprise Support;
- Strong understanding of delivery processes, systems/tools and architecture – preferably at MS;
- Responsibility for spotting trends, breaking down complex problems in a data driven way and drive change;
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills;
- 5 plus years of relevant business experience in Delivery management;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
- Advanced MS Office applications skills, especially Sharepoint and Powerpoint.
