Our company is looking for a Director of Supply Chain to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage inventory strategies and policy to optimize inventory turns and cash flow;
  • Deliver targeted results including cost savings, supplier OTD and quality;
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies;
  • Create and strategically adjust departments’ activities, policies and practices to meet and/or exceed KPI’s and customer satisfaction goals;
  • Implement regulatory-compliant chain of custody requirements for blood products and complex cell and gene therapy products;
  • Establish all import/export requirement for global product distribution including international warehousing;
  • Engaged in operating income initiatives, reducing operations costs and increasing efficiency;
  • Benchmarking and adapting industry best practices to drive state of the art supplier management standard work;
  • Direct all incoming and outgoing patient material and products from procurement to infusion;
  • Identify and select a logistic service provider of the shipping and receiving of blood products for use in GMP manufacturing;
  • Lead implementation of supply chain department policies and systems to ensure the integrity of products, chain-of-condition and custody validation;
  • Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices, and effectively communicating improvements;
  • Maintain responsibility for succession planning, organizational and talent development,
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with global supply chain partners;
  • Support regulatory group during GMP and pre-approval inspections.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP or other pertinent software;
  • Visual hearing abilities with or without correction;
  • Communication Skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop supplier strategies aimed at the development of a long-term viable supply base;
  • Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required;
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and lean tools required;
  • MUST have deep functional experience in supply/demand planning and direct spend category management;
  • Expertise with electronic traceability and scheduling tools is required;
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree in scientific or engineering discipline required, with an advanced degree preferred;
  • Working with Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) firms;
  • Previous experience in leading and building a team is required;
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;
  • Superior querying, Excel, and Access skills, with the ability to efficiently generate complex analytics;
  • Experience negotiating terms and conditions including FAR, DFAR, and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).
