Our company is looking for a Management Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the engagement team in analyzing engagement data to identify incorrect coding, excessive time and expense items;
  • Providing excellent customer service, including the ability to handle escalated callers;
  • Act as a liaison with offshore team and Finance and Risk Management for engagement setup;
  • Managing authorizations/notifications and other service requests received via incoming high volume phone calls, faxes and portal submission;
  • Determining authorization or notification requirements;
  • Preparing authorization cases for Medical Directors, UM Nurses and Case Managers;
  • Facilitate corrections and adjustments to billing and collections for assigned engagement teams;
  • Handling expedited authorizations, authorization updates and status checks;
  • Deliver technical support and guidance for the firm’s engagement accounting and risk management systems.

Requirements:

  • Ability to be proactive in day-to-day interactions, formulate solutions to problems and work in a fast paced environment;
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in Project Accounting, Finance or billing preferably within a professional services environment;
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field from an accredited college/university;
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, or related human services field;
  • Previous experience in Utilization Management strongly preferred;
  • 1 year direct psychiatric/clinical experience required;
  • Current license from the State of North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT) required;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, detail oriented with the ability to work on multiple concurrent assignments;
  • Some travel may be required.
