Responsibilities:

  • Responds to ad-hoc requests for data by determining users’ needs and collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to provide actionable reports;
  • Builds working, interactive, collaborative and influential relationships with business operators;
  • Develops, performs and analyzes time studies to support staffing efficiency initiatives;
  • Gains a thorough understanding of inpatient line of business including operational and clinical processes and procedures;
  • Performs checks and audits of various data sources to ensure data is accurate and complete.

Requirements:

  • Ability to validate data, assess data quality and implement solutions to improve processes;
  • Working knowledge of industry coding (CPT, ICD10, Revenue Code, etc.) preferred;
  • Demonstrated analytical and communication skills;
  • Demonstrated team and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience managing healthcare-related projects and familiarity with healthcare provider industry preferred;
  • Minimum 3-5 Years’ experience in performing statistical, financial and strategic analyses;
  • Experience analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business process flows;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills;
  • Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills;
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively;
  • Working knowledge of SQL preferred.
