Our company is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate daily with overseas, factories, and suppliers;
  • Actively participate in weekly cross-functional meetings;
  • Manage a team of individuals;
  • Work closely with the Oversee team for production, shipping and quality controls;
  • Manage production team and all aspects of production;
  • Organize weekly production meeting with team members to review current production standing and any outstanding issues;
  • Manage daily communication to cross-functional teams (sales, design, planning, testing, compliance and logistics);
  • Manage supplier screening process and work with suppliers to gain and maintain compliant status;
  • Establish contracts with selected suppliers in specific markets;
  • Educate suppliers on working with JLL and established account teams;
  • Communicate and negotiate effectively with all hotel & vendor partners;
  • Maintain the highest level of quality, professionalism and integrity in everything you do;
  • Oversight of supplier set-up in JLL business platforms;
  • Development and management of all supplier communications;
  • Contract selected hotels using client-specific methods and templates.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical abilities;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contractual negotiations;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procurement strategy and market drivers;
  • Strong analytical prioritizing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
  • Minimum 5 years production and supply chain operations experience required;
  • Experience with ERP software a MAJOR PLUS;
  • Excellent communication and computer skills;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in consumer product industry;
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines;
  • Training – Perform continuous professional development activities and ensure up to date training in processes and systems relevant to position;
  • 2+ years of manufacturing management, manufacturing engineering, buying, production planning or product development experience;
  • Prefer FDA-regulated/aerospace/automotive industries experience;
  • Demonstrated leadership, customer service, problem solving, communication, negotiation, tact, judgment, and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
