Our company is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop global Sourcing management strategies using proven analytical methods and procedures;
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and oversee integration of new suppliers;
  • Conduct supplier capability assessments & performance audits;
  • Design, lead, and execute contract negotiations;
  • Perform specification development;
  • Ongoing Supplier Business Continuity Planning (BCP) to lead risk and continuity of supply;
  • Categorize the required supplier PVO (spend), to be led via multiyear Pall contracts, to manage risk, liability and to maximize outputs;
  • Ensure logistics model for “Total landed” cost of supply is maximized;
  • Realize engineering inputs for all New Product Development (NPI), and introduction programs;
  • Provide overall sourcing leadership for new product projects and contract manufacturing;
  • Define clear scopes of work and manage the RFQ/RFP process;
  • Critical to ensure strong, value-adding relationships with suppliers, internal customers, and cross-functional departments;
  • Detailed understanding of macro-economic factors affecting, driving, and influencing NPI category management;
  • To produce a supplier rationalization program, with execution timeline.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer focus;
  • Ability to direct the work of others;
  • Knowledge of all company products;
  • Excellent Computer Skills;
  • Conducted business travel outside of North American. Has a current valid passport for travel;
  • Highly analytical;
  • 5+ years of global sourcing experience;
  • Solid understanding of strategic sourcing and commodity strategy concepts;
  • Deep business analysis and strategic thinking skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities;
  • Knowledge of Software System & interfaces, i.e. Procurement, AP, inventory management, etc;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (processing and analyzing data);
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience, preferred;
  • Excellent influencing and change management skills;
  • Experienced with the usage of electronic sourcing tools for RFI, RFQ, Reverse Auction.
