Communications Assistant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Communications Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan ERC employee morale activities;
- Manage communications calendar;
- Manage ERC’s Sharepoint site;
- Other general support as needed;
- Liaise with PSI staff for blog edits and approvals;
- Lead in sourcing content and writing for PSI’s weekly email newsletter;
- Work closely with Project Managers to monitor budgets, contracts and other administrative functions for client projects;
- Assist ERC team members with research for external vendors;
- Produce creative and strategic communication content for public outreach campaigns;
- Manage and distribute weekly and monthly department activity reports;
- Direct inbound media calls, collecting appropriate information for Communications team to effectively manage the inquiry;
- Assist with the organization and management of PSI’s photo database;
- Assist the Associate Content Manager with management of PSI.org;
- Support social media manager as needed;
- Schedule, write, and/or edit content for PSI’s blog.
Requirements:
- Assist the Associate Content Manager with management of PSI.org;
