The Applications Engineer I works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Our company is looking for a Application Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Site Manager with quoting as necessary;
  • Prepare, submit and save a copy of proof of delivery (POD) to network drive;
  • Development of scripts, in SQL or other scripting languages for data integration and data analysis;
  • Assist in the coordination of projects with engineering and production team;
  • Review and update annual printed catalog and online store;
  • Administers engineering activities of projects from concept to implementation;
  • Support Operations, Sales, and Service;
  • Accurately and consistently applies engineering and manufacturing standards;

  • Design, build, test and oversee installation of new cogeneration systems into existing facilities;
  • Support and plan resources for trade shows as requested by Dir of Applications Engineering and trade show leads.

Requirements:

  • Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn independently to find solutions to potential customer’s problems;
  • Demonstrated ability to organize & prioritize projects and complete multiple tasks on schedule;
  • Experience with JSON / XML / other data formats;
  • Willingness to travel at least thirty percent overnight;
  • Master’s Degree and/or Business Degree is a plus;
  • Understanding of web technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3 and web application frameworks, such as React or Angular;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned;
