Our company is looking for a AWS Cloud Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a scalable, secure, highly-available, multi-tenant Web application in the cloud for production environment;
  • Champion security by design;
  • Participate in design and automation of cloud deployment architecture and CICD process for microservices applications technology stack;
  • Architect and develop complex end-to-end solutions for a real-time streaming IIoT platform;
  • Devise enterprise strategies around containerization, serverless and API management;
  • Define and document cloud solution architecture(s) including technical designs and diagrams;
  • Build and deploy production systems in AWS;
  • Design enterprise cloud technical strategy;
  • Design infrastructure as code structure including Terraform;
  • Train and mentor junior cloud engineers;
  • Pursue innovation and improvement in relation to Infinitive’s cloud offerings;
  • Understand and champion cloud lifecycle management, helping evolve and expand Infinitive’s footprint;
  • Represent Infinitive as a cloud expert in industry events and with customers;
  • Architect and develop working demonstrations and proofs of concepts in AWS and Azure;
  • Acting as the primary technical POC on cloud related engagements with Infinitive.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git;
  • Experience with Jenkins or Maven, Git/version control, NoSQL databases (mongoDB);
  • Familiar with data structures, schemas, and infrastructure;
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and hands-on experience in AWS provisioning;
  • 5+ years of experience in development of network and system management solutions;
  • Front-end and back-end design, development, automation, and testing;
  • Strong understanding of Cloud-based application deployment architectures;
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and RESTful API design;
  • Preferred Qualifications;
  • Excellent leadership, peer management, and communication skills;
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate or Professional (preferred);
  • Interest in being involved internally and growing a small business (entrepreneurial spirit);
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional (preferred);
  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Management consulting experience (preferred).
