Cloud Systems Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues with client deployments;
- Configure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS);
- Providing technical support to staff and customers;
- Write code to automate system architectures;
- Working on custom special projects as assigned;
- Network documentation, maintenance, support;
- Understands, documents, and supports the underlying business processes, workflows, data and application platforms that depend on Microsoft services;
- Take ownership of issues, with a sense of urgency, and using sound judgment to resolve within service levels;
- Design, implement and troubleshoot Azure Site Recovery, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), automation of deployment;
- AWS environment setup, support, maintenance;
- SQL server maintenance and support;
- Firewall maintenance and support;
- Server documentation, installation, support, maintenance;
- Backup documentation and maintenance;
- Engage peers in accordance with processes and procedures to create complete solution designs.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of relevant industry experience;
- Security certification on CCSP or CISSP;
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE or similar);
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ103);
- Azure AD Back-up and restore;
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server installation, patching and maintenance;
- Experience with Office 365 administration;
- Microsoft Azure Cloud Services;
- Experience with Cicso/Aruba switch configuration/maintenance;
- Working knowledge of SQL server – MS SQL, MySQL, Postgres;
- Experience with PowerShell, Bash, python;
- Strong working knowledge of Linux and common open source utilities;
- 3+ years of experience with Systems administration of cloud and on-premise environments;
- 3+ years working with AWS (Amazon Web Services);
- Experience with Cisco firewalls.
