Our company is looking for a Data Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Definition of Information from each data sources integrating to the enterprise DW Define the Dimension information;
  • Generate DDL and validate that the DDL is implemented properly;
  • Participate in DRB reviews by providing constructive feedback to others;
  • Provide input into the vision, strategy and principles for end-to-end data management pertaining to repeatable Advisory Technology developed solutions;
  • Ability to identify and design the implementation of new systems while maintaining existing systems and processes;
  • Lead Initiatives to define approach to dashboarding and reporting solutions for the application;
  • Develop DW Standards for Enterprise including Database, ETL and Reporting Standards to be used in development projects on DW Platform;
  • Develop and maintain Dashboards/reports using Tableau and Looker;
  • Proactively monitors systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints;
  • Other duties as assigned;

Requirements:

  • Experience with data management platforms (e.g. SSIS, SSAS, InfoSphere, Talend, Informatica, SAS);
  • Assist in the delivery of business intelligence solutions with best of breed products;
  • Experience with Denodo a plus;
  • Take initiative in an environment involving diverse sets of data, documents, and materials;
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and mentoring skills. ;
  • 3+ years of data modeling experience;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
  • Master of database structuring and querying having first-hand experience in designing complex database systems;
  • Ability to design data models based on functional data/business requirements;
  • Knowledge of data architecture and design patterns and the ability to apply them;
  • Ensure compliance with approved IT standards, principles, policies and guidelines in the design of projects, applications and solutions;
  • Experience implementing an end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
  • Experience with Hadoop (or similar) Ecosystem (MapReduce, Yarn, HDFS, Hive, Spark, Presto, Pig, HBase);
  • 5 years’ experience designing and implementing data systems in a lead role;
  • 10+ years of experience managing, architecting, and integrating Oracle databases.
