eLearning developer Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a eLearning developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop course storyboards and templates;
  • Create video production including audio and video editing in SCORM;
  • Develop illustrations, graphics, etc. to support the course content;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts;
  • Designing and developing eLearning course templates alongside instructional designers and other eLearning developers;
  • Partnering with instructional designers to produce high quality eLearning content;
  • Partnering with the creative team to create new assets for courses;
  • Developing and maintaining eLearning content and modules;
  • Leading the eLearning content review process for subject matter experts and instructional designers;
  • Collaborating with other members of the Digital Learning Team and Training Team to brainstorm, problem-solve, and review each other’s work;
  • Creating digital assets for eLearning courses;
  • Working with the LMS Administrator structuring course and curricula offerings.

Requirements:

  • Excellent time-management skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum development or related field preferred (Required 4 Years);
  • Experience in online curriculum development and delivery for adult learners. (Required 3 Years);
  • Experience with SCORM requirements;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Experience with Articulate (Required 3 Years);
  • Experience with PowerPoint (Required 3 Years);
  • Experience with Captivate (Required 3 Years);
  • Experience in video production equipment and software to create video-based learning experiences;
  • Experience with Photoshop (Required 3 Years);
  • Knowledge of instructional design concepts and principles;
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading (Required 3 Years);
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Experience in multimedia and graphic design to create SCORM files (Required 3 Years);
  • Expert-level command of course authoring tools and course development methodologies.
