IT Support Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a IT Support to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and lead projects for hardware rollouts, adds and moves, as needed;
- Field Services support specialist provides hardware (desktop, laptop, tablet),
- software and printer support to users while maintaining a high level of customer;
- level personnel, which may include;
- Respond to IT tickets, telephone calls, e-mails, and requests for technical support; and;
- Performs field support activities with direction from Senior IT Analyst;
- Documents, tracks, and monitors all problems to ensure a timely resolution;
- General IT technical support, troubleshooting and documentation;
- Identify, research and resolve technical problems of IT equipment and software applications;
- Receive, inventory and install new equipment, or relocate equipment;
- Administrate user accounts for network, e-mail, and other applications.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a help desk or IT Support role;
- Excellent customer service skills and professional conduct;
- Experience with Exchange Server Tools, Office 365 and other cloud based applications a plus; and;
- Understanding of system imaging utilities such as SCCM;
- Valid California driver’s license and auto insurance;
- Ability to work shifts Monday – Saturday;
- Ability to apply logic in analysing technology solutions;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2010/2016 and Windows 7/10;
- Ability to perform effectively both independently and as a team member;
- Knowledge of personal computers and peripheral devices.
