Our company is looking for a Lead Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Project Manager for allproject related issues;
  • Responsible for technical work flow,task assignments;
  • Assigned to multiple projects tomaintain 100% utilization;
  • Perform responsibilities in a conscientious, legal and ethical manner with a strong attention to detail;
  • Typical work week hours will vary between 40-50 hours per week. Expectations to work more than 50 hours may occur, but not on a regular basis;
  • Designdata warehouses on platforms such as AWS Redshift, , Hadoop and other highperformance platforms;
  • Demonstrate full competency in all current Hines and property emergency procedures including but not limited to;
  • This position will require the initiative to think independently and make rational judgment calls;
  • Attend periodic management/executive training seminars;
  • Work directly with other JCPenney IT associates as well as JCPenney business customers to communicate technical capabilities;
  • Provide thought leadership for the LabEngineering Practice and actively encourage learning and development within the New York engineering team;
  • Mentor and grow a team of cross-functional engineers including hiring and performance reviews;
  • Other duties as assigned by supervision;
  • Define the technical roadmap;
  • Participate in a culture that values structured code reviews as well as deploying frequently.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Four(4) years of hand-on experience implementing Adobe Analytics on mobile apps and website;
  • Experience in capital markets, financial markets/products, consulting is highly desirable;
  • Hands-on experience in using Adobe Cloud, Workbench, Workspace and Report Builder;
  • Experience working as a consultant or for a state or county agency such as NDDOT or MDT is preferred;
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms, and a working understanding of contemporary SDLC practices such as continuous delivery;
  • 4+ years of hand-on experience with AEM;
  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution;
  • Flexible working style and willingness to occasionally modify personal schedules as required to meet deadlines and/or client needs;
  • Ability to sit and operate a computer under normal ergonomic office conditions;
  • Recent experience in server-side software development preferably in the Java ecosystem;
  • 2+ years of NoSQL experience (preferably Cassandra);
  • Have the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, both in speech and writing;
  • Nice to have;
  • Proven track record in effective leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making.
