Our company is looking for a Lead Solution Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with other architects, data scientists, analytics teams, and business product owners in an agile environment;
  • Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support;
  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications;
  • Work with design and development teams to create solutions that are in line with time and budget constraints;
  • Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications;
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation;
  • Monitor developments within the industry, vendor community, and technology trends and consider these in light of product roadmaps;
  • Attend client meetings; lead discovery process; gain knowledge of our clients’ businesses; lead client presentations;
  • Deliver well-written user stories and functional requirements;
  • Recommend the selection and integration of data related tools, frameworks and applications required to expand our platform capabilities;
  • Architect, build and support the operation of Cloud and On-Premises enterprise data infrastructure and tools;
  • Work well with senior staff to define the technology vision for the organization;
  • Lead design and supervise coding from requirements and functional specifications;
  • Serve as a Leverege representative and spokesperson at industry events and partner forums;
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability managing internal and external product and technology teams from incubation to launch and at scale deployments;
  • Experience/knowledge of software development life cycle for P&C insurance software;
  • Experience framing technical solutions for P&C insurance providers;
  • Property & Casualty Policy Administration experience;
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location;
  • Advanced degree preferred (Master’s degree, etc.);
  • Experience with data analysis and using data visualization tools to describe data;
  • Group and team activities;
  • The ability and desire to learn new things quickly;
  • 3 or more years of experience in a technical management or senior product/engineering role;
  • Software development experience in relevant programming languages (i.e. Spark, Java, Python, Scala, Node.js, SQL);
  • 15+ years of experience is accepted in lieu of education;
  • 2+ years of experience with Docker containers;
  • Experience providing strategic technical consulting to senior Federal customers;
  • A curiosity and interest in many different industries, technologies, and businesses.
