Mgr Systems Engineering 2 Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mgr Systems Engineering 2 to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Champion change within the organization, to achieve competitive advantage for the division and sector;
- Develop and improve personnel and organizational technical skills;
- Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, performance management and contract maintenance for contractors working in the business area as required;
- Forecast and lead work load for each team member;
- Provide personnel with career development, employee engagement, mentoring and coaching;
- Technical contributor or manager in a program role as part of the Aurora Engineering management team;
- Lead team of 10-15 systems engineers with grade level ranging from T01 through T05, including college and high school interns;
- Work with Human Resources to mediate and resolve personnel issues;
- Work closely with managers of other engineering disciplines, program managers, and IPT leads;
- Functional oversight for a team of systems engineers of varied disciplines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years related experience; 6 years of related experience with a Masters; 4 years of related experience with;
- Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance;
- Experienced in all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle;
- Effective communication and presentation skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline.
