Our company is looking for a Network Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain user accounts and access privileges;
  • Develop and support digital security policy and procedures;
  • Maintain security rights and directory structure as outlined by IT policies and procedures;
  • Setup, troubleshoot and analyze network infrastructure, hardware, software, and other IT issues;
  • Is the reference for all Active Directory related requests and configuration modifications, including Group Policy and Software Distribution;
  • Work with Network and Core team to develop and test disaster recovery plans for the organization;
  • Operate and maintain Network Management Systems (NMS);
  • Supports the training and mentoring of other employees and support staff on networking topics and issues;
  • Install, maintain and upgrade network interface programs;
  • Mentor and guide junior network team to enhance skillsets and knowledge across the organization;
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise;
  • Monitor and support daily network operations on both wired and wireless networks;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems to ensure no disruption of mission-critical applications;
  • Manage network performance;
  • Oversee network performance, utilization, anticipate problems and suggest solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proficient with general office applications;
  • Comfortable having conversations with business leaders;
  • Associates Degree in a technology discipline or an equivalent combination of education and related experience;
  • Learn and adopt best practices in Network Management;
  • Ability to interface and work well with 3rd party vendors;
  • Assertive, customer-friendly and goal-driven attitude;
  • Knowledge and experience working with VMware vSphere;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with network management via command line interface;
  • Great people and customer service skills;
  • Must have good organization skills;
  • WAN connectivity such as T1, E-LAN, VPLS, and MPLS;
  • High level of written and oral fluency in English;
  • Microsoft Windows Server administration;
  • Monitoring systems, PRTG experience beneficial;
  • Prior experience Troubleshooting and Diagnostic of hardware and software (Required 2 Years).
