Sr. Network Administrator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Sr. Network Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Upgrades network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements;
- Other duties as assigned;
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential;
- Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references and support;
- Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses;
- Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience with McAfee Sidewinder Firewalls;
- Experience with Cisco ACS;
- Experience in mission management or command & control domains;
- Experience with Cisco Unified Computing System;
- Experience with Nexus Switches (e.g. 9k series, 5548UP, 2248TP);
- Demonstrated knowledge of the full product life-cycle and related configuration management processes and application;
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and complete tasks while managing a variety of assignments;
- Experience with NetApp Data OnTap Cluster Mode;
- Familiarity with DISA STIG compliance;
- Experience with Network Appliance FAS (2240, 3240, 2650, 8200);
- Experience with SolarWinds;
- Experience with Cisco Fabric Interconnect Switches (6120/6248);
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a multi-disciplinary project/team;
- Knowledge of AOC, its mission and the systems within its current 10.1 baseline.
