Our company is looking for a Network Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies;
  • Develop technology standards and network deployment templates;
  • Maintain multiple advanced manufacturer specific advanced certifications. i.e.: CCIE, R/S. Voice, Brocade, CISSP, VCDX, UCS;
  • Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning;
  • Assist the Services Director with resource management;
  • Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls is preferred;
  • Work with the Services Director to set training goals for each member of team;
  • Research, design and develop repeatable solutions for customer IT needs;
  • Continuing education of relevant certifications that would benefit the Lead Technical Architect role;
  • Day-to-day operational support of network infrastructure and services;
  • Manage technical development and team satisfaction of employees;
  • Translate requirements into design specifications;
  • Provide guidance to Customers on best design practices in the areas of IP/MPLS core and services architecture. Acting as an IP/MPLS consultant;
  • Frequently interacts with suppliers to influence their products and services in directions favorable to the enterprise;
  • Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors.

Requirements:

  • Seven plus years of experience as a network engineer managing enterprise data center networks;
  • Infrastructure automation experience (Ansible, Python, Terraform, Cloud Formation);
  • Cyber Security Awareness;
  • Strong Private and Public Cloud design and implementation experience;
  • Strong knowledge with MPLS, IS-IS, BGP, OSPF, RSVP-TE, LDP, VPLS, MPLS L3VPNs, EVPNs, VxLAN and SDN;
  • Working knowledge of supporting and managing Linux systems;
  • Working knowledge of Switching Platforms Cat3K, 4K, 6K, SUP6e/6le/7e/7le/8e;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
  • Preferred Certifications: CCNA Customer service oriented;
  • Working knowledge of Routing platforms ISR 2900, 3900, 4400 and ASR 1000;
  • Working knowledge of CWDM, DWDM and optical networking technologies;
  • High-performance I/O technologies, including fiber channel and Infiniband;
  • Experience working with load balancing platforms, including A10, Citrix, and F5 Networks;
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum principles and practices;
  • Knowledge of the film making process, from pre-production through distribution.
