Principal Solutions Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Principal Solutions Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical mentor and model the expected behaviours and values for the immediate team and across the US Informatics organization as a whole;
- Provides technical support and assistance to more junior Architects;
- Consult on application development projects to fit systems into the technical architecture;
- Significant contributor to business innovation;
- Identify organizational and financial impact of the ETA;
- Document technical architecture design and analysis work;
- Facilitates crucial conversations;
- Leads from the front and champions the cause/goal for the project/program;
- Contribute to set up the Best Practices across the verticals in the organization;
- Proactively identifies gaps and bridges gaps;
- Monitor and analyze current technology environment to identify critical deficiencies and recommend solutions;
- Provide leadership and technical expertise to the US commercial, medical and government affairs teams for company’s US Informatics.
Requirements:
- Experience in leading enterprise architecture activities locally and globally;
- Strong technical experience of developing architectures that enable a digital transformation within a business org;
- Good understanding of microservices based architectures;
- Familiar with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure & GCP;
- Strong expertise in designing and deploying ML/AI based solutions;
- Knowledge and understanding of Application and Software Design Patterns;
- Deep understanding of Data Architecture and Systems Architecture with experience working with data warehouses;
- 5+ years of experience in systems development, and software support or IT consulting or equivalent industry experience with Microsoft products;
- Familiar with programming languages like Python (PySpark, Scrapy, SpaCy etc), R , Java, SQL, Javascript etc;
- 10+ years of technology engineering and architecture roles demonstrating experience with go-to-market strategy development and execution;
- Must have experience Merchandising, Direct Allocation and Inventory Management to enable process design and technology enablement;
- The ability to work cooperatively with, and gain the respect of the engineering team;
- Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on technology products or projects;
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer systems, math, information technology, or similar.
