Our company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage & troubleshoot network and Internet connectivity throughout the organization;
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting;
  • Serve as the Tier III response for all escalated network issues and customer complaints;
  • Identify and evaluate new features, enhancements, and develop and operationalize them;
  • Maintain and administer lab computer network including system software, application software/hardware and configuration;
  • Perform and assist internal customers and team members in resolving escalated networking issues;
  • Responsible for daily troubleshooting of the network, and follow up the fault until problem closed;
  • Create and leverage network tooling to identify and mitigate network anomalies;
  • Create and leverage telemetry, analytics and learning pipelines to better monitor, measure, and debug the network;
  • Participate in and/or lead vendor evaluations and architectural reviews;
  • Perform network monitoring, analysis, performance tuning; troubleshoot issues such as network authentication;
  • Provide support for ERS, VSP infrastructure;
  • Document solutions to new problems and share with the rest of the team;
  • Track issues and business requests and conduct research on broad-based solutions and new features that meet user needs;
  • Establish a sound and stable networking environment by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, and scheduling upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of network security best practices;
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale multiple virtual platform capabilities;
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work and analyze both independently and as part of a team;
  • Experience managing datacenter deployments;
  • Able to resolve customer issues appropriately and in a timely manner;
  • VMWare ESX, Horizon View;
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations ( PCI , SOX , etc.);
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
  • Experience with NAC and access control methods;
  • Experience with network security concepts, best practices and te chn ologies including SSH, IPSec, TACACs, firewall policies, and 802.1x;
  • 5+ years’ experience with QoS, BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, and SDWAN preferred;
  • Ethernet, IP routing and redundancy protocols including CoS, VLANS, SVI, HSRP/VRRP/MLAG, STP, 80;
  • IAT III, Security+, or other DoD 8570.01-M/8140 IAT II Certification;
  • In-depth knowledge of network principles and protocols.
