Our company is looking for a Service Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design/Create, develop, own and maintain operational procedures for onboarding, managing Azure environments to meet defined OLAs, SLAs;
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly business review meetings with customers and prepare reports, presentations;
  • Fulfill customer’s service requests wrt to, proactive/reactive maintenance tasks;
  • Initiates engineering activities to insure proper operating parameters are being maintained for customer’s processes;
  • Design and deliver automation of manual workflows (Security Ops);
  • Design and develop security tooling for risk detection and prevention;
  • Provides direct technical support to clients and potential clients. Able to communicate those needs to the customer and management;
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment;
  • Maintains contact with current customers for new requirements, technical advice, quality problems, new developments, etc;
  • Stay relevant with emerging exploits and security principles;
  • Develops leads and prospects for new sales, contacts prospects, prepares and delivers sales presentation for new business proposals;
  • Responsible for the service function of Water Treatment Systems;
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience with distributed computing, networking and databases;
  • Microsoft Azure Platform or AWS Platform;
  • Experience in communicating to a variety of stakeholders including large enterprise customers, executive management, and engineering teams;
  • Monitoring data related technologies like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics , Grafana, Ambari, Prometheus, Datadog, Confluent , etc;
  • Strong multi-tasker and self-starter with real passion for technology;
  • Experience in a DevOps culture supporting live site;
  • Experience with Data Warehouse, reporting frameworks, building and leveraging data lake on Azure or from other cloud solutions providers;
  • Demonstrated technical experience with service engineering or software development and operations;
  • IT experience in operating/managing cloud-based mission critical workloads in a 24×7 environment with strong knowledge of ITIL, ITSM;
  • DevOps related experience with Azure Data technologies (Cosmos DB, SQL Datawarehouse, Azure Datalake,etc) technologies and CI/CD toolset;
  • Experience in collaboration across teams within and outside the organization;
  • Strong leadership with proven track record of DevOps/ support Engineering competencies including customer focus and business /strategic acumen;
  • Experience developing and managing cloud services in a development, operations, or site reliability engineering role;
  • Strong communications/soft skills, with passion to deliver great customer experience;
  • Ability to apply advance mathematical equations to a variety of complex, non-standard situations.
