Our company is looking for a SQL Database Administrator to join our team.


  • Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours;
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes;
  • Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members;
  • Provide 24×7 support for critical production systems;
  • Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems;
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end;
  • Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations;
  • Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement;
  • Support of production environment;
  • Replication setup/maintenance;
  • Identify pain points and bottlenecks and recommend solutions;
  • Database Mirroring and database level High Availability;
  • Data Modeling;
  • Documentation, Scripting, Writing complex Stored Procedures;
  • Analysis of database performance and performance tuning.


  • Experience developing and working with MS BI Stack tools such as SSRS, SSIS and SSAS a plus;
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools;
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment;
  • 5+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required;
  • MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications a plus;
  • Flexible, team player, “get-it-done” personality;
  • Experience writing Stored Procedures, Queries, Tuning, Scripts;
  • Experience with Data Modeling and High Availability;
  • Prior military experience preferred;
  • 5+ years of SQL server database administration expertise;
  • Strong experience with Extract,Transform& Load (ETL) design and operations, such as, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);
  • Experience in a Windows 2008 / Windows 7 /Windows 2012 +Windows 2016 development environment;
  • Any oracle database administration knowledge would be nice to have;
  • Informatica ETL experience is highly desired;
  • Experience with virtual environments and clustered environments.
