Responsibilities:

  • Resource and Performance Monitoring;
  • Document maintenance and support procedures for routine and complex tasks;
  • Proactively escalate and own issues to resolution before they become problems;
  • Manage existing backup solutions;
  • Perform Service and Reporting Databases;
  • Regular Collaboration with Developers and DevOps Engineers;

  • SQL Server 2008 R2/2014/2016;
  • Experience in Linux / Unix operating systems;
  • 4 years minimum experience in Relational Database Systems required; MariaDB or Percona MySQL preferred;
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of database software;
  • Highly motivated, organized, capable of multitasking;
  • Skills in reviewing/debugging, modifying, document existing code;
  • Experience in logical and physical data modeling;
  • 8+ years of experience with implementing and monitoring database architectures and providing system documentation;
  • Comfortable with self-direction and working under pressure to resolve production issues;
  • Skills in writing web user interfaces in modern programming language (e.g. PHP, Python, HTML, XML, KML);
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE);
  • Experience in logical and physical data modeling;
  • TS/SCI Clearance Required;
  • Secure web testing (e.g. HPs WebInspect).
