Support Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Support Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required;
- Work off an extension ladder;
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds;
- Move about facility and stand for long periods of time;
- Read and write handwritten notes;
- Recommend IT related improvements to clients;
- Provide technical assistance to our clients via phone, in person or electronically;
- Track client issues and resolutions;
- Triage incoming Tickets and requests;
- Work on-call or after hours as needed;
- Other responsibilities as assigned;
- Work with other departments (like IT) to develop Juniper wide infrastructure solutions for difficult challenges;
- Build tools and systems that make work more efficient for the rest of the team;
- Make design decisions that affect all of the Lab Management team, including teams in other theaters;
- Run the lab without any help from the team, except perhaps management.
Requirements:
- Detail oriented;
- Minimum 1 year experience in information technology or technical support;
- Highly motivated teammate with a positive attitude;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
