Technical Consultant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Technical Consultant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain GP software;
- Manage with the implementation of GP 2019 October Release;
- Overall maintenance and support;
- Implement multiple modules within GP (SOP, POP, Inventory);
- Integrate Dynamics GP and Dynamics CRM;
- Adhere to QA and Quality Control Processes for all EastNets offerings;
- Complete at least 150 paid implementations per year;
- Document all customer interactions using the company’s support documentation templates and systems;
- Understand and translate customer business goals into successful campaign plans using Terminus technology during the initial implementation;
- Deliver solution, product and service training as needed;
- Plan deployments and technical designs as requested;
- Assist customers through remote support;
- Attend engineering team meetings to coordinate activities;
- The ability to work night shifts or during holidays and weekends when needed;
- Maintain the security of data, devices, and systems at all times, pertaining to personnel, customers and partners.
Requirements:
- Experience leveraging Amazon Web Services;
- Experience with Management Reporter;
- Experience with marketing technologies such as Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Adroll, Demandbase, Engagio, Marketo;
- Previous integration experience using Scribe;
- Previous engagements as a Technical Consultant;
- Understanding of MarTech (experience using MarTech platforms is a plus);
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; you have the unique ability to talk technical details and business strategy, in the same conversation;
- Have hands-on experience with CRMs (Salesforce, Oracle CRM, and Dynamics);
- Experience with project management software;
- Are comfortable with data manipulation, data structures, and a passion for exploring data to extract valuable insights;
- Experience in SaaS integrations via API;
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of customer projects with keen prioritization and multi-tasking abilities;
- Familiarity with data encryption, security, firewalls, networking modem technology;
- Certifications: Windows, UNIX, MSSQL or Oracle;
- Computer Science/ Engineering graduate.
