UI/UX Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a UI/UX Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize user flows and customer checkout;
- Working collaboratively with team members to turn interface designs into components and functionality;
- Collaborating with the development team to ensure best practices and approaches are applied;
- Take a user-centric design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs;
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds unassisted;
- Walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders and stairs; crawl; kneel;
- Develop front-end html for responsive design websites and other digital artifacts;
- Work with the European Digital Development Manager, the Assurant Optimisation Team and collaborate with cross functional teams;
- Providing development insights, feedback and recommendations on project UX and designs;
- Produce UX/UI solutions both within a team setting and working independently;
- Communicating project/task status to technical and non-technical team members and clients;
- Participating in internal and external project meetings, such as demos and sprint planning;
- Identify design problems in existing properties and devise elegant solutions;
- Translate concepts into user flows, mockups and prototypes that lead to high quality intuitive user experiences;
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Electron js;
- Experience with Go, C++, C, or Java desired;
- Redux;
- REST and JSON over RPC;
- Bachelors degree or greater desired;
- Graphics work ( e.g canvas, webql, d3);
- Automotive infotainment user experience (UX) design and usability;
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills;
- Highly successful problem solver that is organised, detailed and extremely collaborative;
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wire-framing tools;
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap;
- Great communication skill – within team and with internal customers;
- Proficiency with design and image manipulation tools;
- Strong communication, presentation, and creative challenge-solving skills;
- At least 3+ years of web development with modern frameworks such as Angular and React.
