Our company is looking for a Commercial Plumber to join our team.


  • Testing pipes by filling them with water or air and reads gauges to determine whether system is working accurately;
  • Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing;
  • Writes a report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken;
  • Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials;
  • Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation;
  • Prepares bids and schedules and oversees other workers, such as apprentices and helpers;
  • Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building;
  • Assembles fittings and valves for installation;
  • Installs heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters;
  • Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes;
  • Assisting with the installation of pipe and fittings for copper, cast iron, and PVC/CPVC pipes, and for drain, sewer, and gas lines;
  • Installing fittings and components above and in ground;
  • Unloading and carrying materials to the jobsite;
  • Must have completed all state-required classes and apprentice work, and possess a journeyman’s card;
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.

  • Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time and to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs;
  • P1 or P2 CT state license;
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic;
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems;
  • 4 years of plumbing experience;
  • Connecticut P-1 or P-2 Plumbing License;
  • Driver’s License;
  • OSHA 10 Certification;
  • Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, and blueprints;
  • 2 years of plumbing experience;
  • Must have at least 1 years experience in commercial plumbing;
  • Must have reliable transportation.
